Series Landscape

I have a variety of series that I write so I have to keep organized. I have a sort of series landscape. A schedule of a sort of the order of my series and where it is going. There are layers to build when you write a series. The schedule helps me a lot with my writing and planning out my various series. I love writing series because I get to get deep into the world see previous characters and develop more. It is fun and of course time consuming. You must make sure that you keep the thread of the series accurate to your previous books and so on. LOL. But I love it. It’s like a puzzle that keeps getting more pieces that fit together to create a beautiful image.

A large series landscape. In each series you building worlds with lots of people, places and so on. Bringing you – the reader- into the lives of the characters and world. It is fun to do and I can’t wait to see what comes next in any of my series. Each book adds another layer to my series landscape. More to the world and inspires even more books. It is an ongoing cycle. Some series may have an end point but there maybe other characters that may create a sin off. You never know what can happen when writing any book. That is the most fun of the series. The surprises.

I love revisiting my series and writing the next book. It’s like opening a candy jar and finding my favorite candies. I guess that is why I tend to like to read series too. To get into the world and become part of it.

I agree — the layers and familiarity of series is very appealing to me as a reader. I always kind of wondered how authors kept everything straight. 🙂

    Wilde Seduction looks hot!
