Mercy is attending the wedding of her grandma, Patience, at a five star inn run by her grand Aunt Pru in Vermont. Her grandma is marrying her longtime boyfriend, Claude. The four day festivities starts off with a bang, when the spa director goes missing. Mercy’s mom, Grace, sends Mercy and her bomb sniffing dog, Elvis, to find him. Instead, they find a stranger dead in the goat barn. Who is he?

Mercy, army veteran, and her sharp canine side-kick, Elvis, are on the case, sniffing out evidence as they find it. Her lover, hunkalicious, game warden, Troy Warner and his dog, Susie Bear are drawn into the investigation too. As the alienated families gather for the event, feuding and fighting breaks out among them. Mercy discovers they all have secrets. The dogs, Elvis and Susie Bear, alert the humans to nefarious intruders and clues. Will the wedding ever take place?

Mercy and her canine best friend, Elvis, are at it again, solving murders and mysteries in this latest novel by writer extraordinaire, Ms. Munier. Loved the whole plot of a missing spa director, shocking revelation of a dead body in a goat barn, estranged relations gathered for a four day wedding event and Mercy, mother, Grace, grand Aunt, Pru, all running around to kick off the wedding of the year. A killer is among them and it’s up to Mercy, Troy and their super sniffer dogs to uncover the facts. I always love a good dog story that sniffs out the villain. Mercy and Troy’s love for one another heats up too! Many characters from the series make appearances in this story. Troy and Mercy work against the clock to find the nefarious fiend. Will they expose the murderer before the lovely couple says, I do? THE WEDDING PLOT is a magnificent murder mystery!
