A story of promise and coincidences, THE SHELL COLLECTOR is a beautiful testament to love renewed. A beautiful lady, Amanda Whittier, is a grieving widow and a mother to two cherished children. She is grappling with the loss of her beloved husband at a young age while in the military. She is coming to terms with living life and moving on. She moves to Whelks Island, a charming town by the sea. Her beach house is located right next to the water and she loves walking down to the beach. She forms a bond with her neighbor, Maeve Lindsay, who is also a widow with wise pearls of wisdom in her arsenal. Amanda and Maeve form a strong friendship. Maeve helps Amanda in ways of the heart and more. Maybe loving a man again?

Paul Grant, best friend of Amanda’s husband, is also hurting and grieving the loss of his best friend. He is disgusted with himself, feeling he let Amanda down when she needed him most, after the devastating loss of her husband. He secretly always found Amanda extremely attractive, but never voiced it. Maybe this is his second chance with her and to demonstrate himself worthy. Will these two lost souls find love again?

THE SHELL COLLECTOR is definitely a soulful, sad story full of faith and redemption. A widow moves her family to a town by the sea to restore her sorrowful heart. Only a miracle in the form of a neighbor lady, Maeve, with hidden gifts, sneakily heals Amanda’s heart and soul. This is truly a bittersweet story with beautiful moments of love, protection, trust, happiness, and even a little suspense. Be prepared to cry because this story deeply moved my heart. Ms. Naigle definitely is talented in twining a touching story that tugs at the heartstrings. Amanda even unexpectedly sees her late husband’s best friend, Paul, again. Will she find room for forgiveness and open up her heart to love? This is a tightly woven plot full of surprises. THE SHELL COLLECTOR is absolutely stunning!
