DEAR SANTA by Debbie Macomber was a delightful Christmas read.
Lindy Carmichael, a graphic designer, returns home to Wenatchee, Washington, for Christmas. Still smarting from learning her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend, she’s struggling to put it behind her. But being with her family and meeting up with old friends lifts Lindy’s spirits. And when she meets up with Billy, the boy who used to torment her in grade school, her past becomes a distant memory.
The story is sprinkled with Christmas magic. Santa makes an appearance to make Lindy’s wishes come true and helps her discover there’s no place like home.
