1)    Coffee or tea? Black coffee all the way.

2)    Walk on the beach or skiing at a remote chalet? Beach! I need to be warm.

3)    Comedy or drama? Depends on my mood. I love both.

4)    TV or books? Also depends on my mood. Both excellent mental escapes.

5)    Best movie you watched in 2017? I really liked Thor: Ragnorok.

6)    Best romance you read in 2017? Just one? Looking at my Kindle, I see I read 13 Lisa Kleypas historicals this year—I loved them all.

7)    A book you wish you had written? Linda Castillo’s AMONG THE WICKED

8)    Favorite romance trope to read? Enemies to lovers

9)    Favorite romance trope to write? Fish out of water

10) Favorite place to write? A coffee shop near my home.

11) Your heroine that most closely resembles you? I’ve been told Ava McLane.

12) A trait that all of your heroes must have? Honor.

13) A setting (city/region) you want to write about in the future? I write Pacific Northwest. I don’t see that changing.

14) The actor and actress you used to physically model your heroine Mercy? I don’t visualize that way when writing…but now that it’s done, I’d say Cobie Smulders, Agent Hill from The Avengers.

15) Your favorite scene from A Merciful Secret? The black moment at the end. I went somewhere that hurt to write, but I’m glad I did it. It created a powerful scene.

16) What’s next? The fourth Mercy book, A MERCIFUL SILENCE, will be out in June and there will two more in 2019.
