RJ gives Trouble 5 Ribbons!
"Ms. White has once again given readers a highly erotic
story that goes much deeper than just sex. Samair and Val are
wonderfully written characters whose story would be just as
contagious if it didnt contain sex; isnt that the
true measure of a truly excellent romance? Secondary characters
are equally intriguing, and Vals friend Karl (whom readers
first met in BOUND) will have his story told in WICKED, coming
from Sasha White in January 08, which promises to be just
as delicious as TROUBLE!" - reviewer Laurie
****
TROUBLE is rife with hot sex, rich and compelling true-to-life
characters and a story that caught and completely held my attention.
Sasha has again managed to pull off a sensual, erotic romance
with the sexual and emotional tension building and building
throughout the story until its resolution brought a most satisfying
afterglow. ~ Maura, Joyfully Reviewed

Nothing
in life is easy, and if you try to accomplish something
without having a passion for it, it's even harder. The
same goes for writing - even after you've gotten published
by your dream publisher.
I'm
not talking about deadline stress, (I personally thrive
on that), or how editing and promoting and the business
side of things can often overtake the writing. I'm talking
about how your creative side can sometimes just fall flat.
I believe that it's crucial for a writer to always remember
that to write about life, you have to live life. As thrilling
as getting caught up in your stories, blogs, careers and
promotions are, it's imperative that authors take the
time to "refill the well". Be it a nightly,
weekly, or monthly thing, be sure to always take some
time for yourself, to remind you what's important in life.
And that's finding the passion in living. Remind yourself
what it is about people you love, and hate. What its
like to hang out with friends, experience romance, and
even be a couch potato. You need to experience the things
that make you who you are, so that you can go after what
you want.
Its so very hard not to become totally immersed
in the worlds we create for our characters, and the online
communities that share our love for stories and romance,
but its even harder to write about passion, if you
cant find it in your own life. This is a lesson
I have to remind myself of often. But I firmly believe
finding the passion in my life through travel,
photography, and just hanging with friends - helps me
to share all aspects of passion with the world through
my writing.

Q: What does
your writing schedule look like? Do you write as it
flows or do you have specified times set aside?
I would like to be able to say I have a schedule. Well,
actually I DO have a schedul I just don't stick to it
very well. I make sure I do something writing-oriented
every day. It could be website updates, promotions,
chats, writing, or editing. I TRY to write every day,
but I also work as a bartender, and I'm struggling with
trying to make fitness a part of my daily life after
a few years away from it.
Sometimes I only write one page in two weeks; sometimes
I get inspired and can write three or four pages in
a day. This goes on until I realize how close I am to
a deadline, and I write 15 pages in a day and night.
I pull all niters when I start to feel the pressure,
and to be honest I find I almost need the pressure to
make me get down to it a lot. The muse can be fickle,
and you can't depend on it. But I can depend on my own
ability to work well under pressure.

Maybe it's because I've lived all over
Canada, and travelled to a few places with very extreme
climates, but I don't have a favorite season. I enjoy
all seasons, and all climes, as long as they are in full
swing. What I mean is, I love to see the sun glint of
the pristine snow of a deep Canadian winter, but I dislike
the grey and dreary time between winter and spring, or
winter and fall. I love the heat of mid summer, but don't
enjoy a cloudy day, no matter how warm.
I think I just enjoy the power of strong weather, no
matter hot or cold, or even stormy. Sort of an all-or-nothing
thing.
