My life this past month has been far from ordinary. As a matter of fact you could categorize it as highly insane and at times extremely trying and draining. I was informed that I will again for the second time in two years find myself amongst the ranks of the unemployed. It took me 8 months to find this job before I ended up losing my home to foreclosure, my savings and my retirement last year.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago so between surgery, doctor's appointments, radiation treatments twice a day and trying to nurse her through recovery, I'm in dire need of a long term getaway to a Caribbean isle right about now and, of course, making the New York Times Bestseller List would make for perfect timing.
