Sheila
- one of my oldest and dearest friends
Sheila
and I met in college and haven't stopped laughing since. I fully
expect to be laughing with her all the way to the old age home!
SHe is also Godmother to my oldest son Ian.
Q:
What was your first impression when you found out Sara wrote romance
novels?
My
first impression was "when did she have the time?!"
Sara's already a wife and mother holding down a full-time job.
The fact that it was a romance didn't surprise me at all. I think
a lot of people with a great imagination are romantics at heart,
and Sara has a great imagination.
Q:
What is the silliest thing you and Sara have done together?
We're not
silly at all, and I resent the question! (I can't think of one
thing - we laugh all the time, but it's not, to me, anything you
would describe as "silly.")
Q:
What strikes you most about Sara's personality?
Sara loves
life and is an eternal optimist.
Q:
How does it feel to have a published author in your circle? (that
question might sound a bit stuffy)
It feels right.
I always knew my circle would produce greatness! (That sounds
stuffy, too, but I don't give a sh-t. "It's true for me,"
as my grandmother would say.)
Q:
Do you ever get to read one of Sara's books from the moment she
starts writing it, or does she only share once finished?
I was lucky
enough to see an early draft of "The Amoveo Legacy."
I would love to continue to see her work as it's progressing,
but whatever she needs to do to nurture her craft is up to her.
