I was inspired to write this book after
closely following the journey of a real American Idol
from his television debut to his realization of a life-changing
career. This journey provided me insight into the characteristics
of a phenomenal fan base, as well as an inside look at
how someone can find the strength to stay grounded despite
the unsettling impact of stardom. A long personal relationship
with a musical performer, a prior job with Creative Management
Agency and my attendance at the University of Cincinnatis
School of Journalism all helped me to lay the groundwork
for the story, while my real-life experiences as a wife,
mother and grandmother inspired the rest.

When I read Trish's bio above, I thought I would
give a little more insight being part of her life for 52
years: Trish and I have been friends for 52 years. We met when
one of my best friends, Terry, spent the summer with her family
on Beaver Lake in Hartland, Wisconsin. Trish lived across the
lake in a cottage on her grandfather's estate. They met and
became fast friends. In the fall, Terry introduced her to the
rest of our group of friends.
Trish grew up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin an upscale
suburb near Lake Michigan. I on the other hand grew up on the
west side of Milwaukee in a duplex with one bathroom in our
half. The first time I was in Trish's house, I was in awe. I
had never seen a house like that in my 13 year old life. It
had a winding staircase, four bedrooms each with its own bathroom,
and a huge kitchen. Trish's room was large, but the best thing
was she had a huge amount of cosmetics. My love of makeup started
in her bathroom. She stored makeup and nail polish in her shower.
But best of all, Trish had a brother.
Trish's brother was a year older. He had a group
of very handsome and rich friends. This started a melding of
my girl friends who were very beautiful and her brother's friends.
My first date was with one of these boys; his mother drove us
to a party because he was too young to drive.
Trish and I went on trips together with our families, we moved
to California together in our twenties where she met her husband.
Ed and married him 41 years ago. Of course I was a bride's maid
at her wedding. We haven't seen each other for about 25 years
since Trish's last trip to Milwaukee when her children were
small. However, we resumed our friendship having found each
other again on Facebook. With my technology and marketing skills,
I quickly became her web master and publicist. The rest is history.
I always knew Trish would do something unique. She had imagination
and a lot of courage. Writing this book was a tremendous accomplishment.
She has worked very hard to share her passion for American Idol,
her idealistic dream that everyone should have love and be loved
like Jenna and Aidan, and her love of music.

About the book
In the romance novel When I Remember Love,
a beautiful young woman grieving the sudden death of her
mother is invited to stay with her favorite aunt in California.
As she arrives in Los Angeles, Jenna Holden has no idea
that her life is about to change forever.
Jenna's aunt, Vanessa, a music agent, has just signed
Aidan Price, a gifted and promising new performer who
bears a striking resemblance to a young Johnny Depp. Aidan
has come to Hollywood to compete on American Star, a very
popular televised singing competition. Vanessa arranges
for Jenna to meet Aidan at lunch, and their connection
is instantaneous and electric. From there they begin a
sizzling courtship that leads them on a whirlwind journey
through the demanding music business and media scrutiny
that accompanies Aidan's newfound fame. Despite all the
intrusions which result inevitably from success in the
entertainment world, Aidan and Jenna create a passionate
and loving life together-a life, though, that is soon
to become much more complicated than the "easy"
life we so often assume comes with fame and fortune.
As they are forced to deal with the pressures of international
fame, a devastating illness, and an unspeakable traumatic
event, Aidan and Jenna's relationship and commitment to
each other are tested in many unpredictable ways as they
attempt to prevail over the seemingly insurmountable challenges
that come with their own personal and intimate experience
of stardom.

5 Ribbons from Romance Junkies
"WHEN I REMEMBER LOVE is a breathtaking display of enduring
love through the strain of fame, personal tragedies, and conflicts.
Aidan and Jenna are two characters that you bond with from the
beginning and the depth in which they are developed throughout
the story, as well as their passionate connection, will leave
a lasting impression long after the last pages are turned. Trish
Silver provides a wonderful take on what life for a contestant
on a reality television show is like after the last performance.
She gives a remarkable view of the world beyond and how a star
is born. The original music that was made for the novel only
adds to the magical ambiance that Ms. Silver so marvelously
crafts. This is a story for anyone who has ever been in love
or ever dreamed of finding the special person meant for them."

I'm Trish Silver, the author of "When I Remember
Love." During the writing of this novel it became
obvious to me that I wanted to include original songs.
I was fortunate enough to become acquainted with talented
people who wanted to make the journey with me, and so
our songwriting team was born.
|
|
While
brainstorming, our team decided it would be ideal to make
available a downloadable companion CD with each song keyed
to a definite, corresponding critical moment in the story,
in order to enhance the readers' experience and make them
feel like they are part of the story. With this innovative
"mated-multimedia approach," we knew readers
would be virtually treated to front-row seats at a sold-out
pop star concert. I never thought that I would write a
novel. My characters came to me in a dream, and they wouldn't
leave me alone until I penned their love story. It's strange
the twists and turns that life takes sometimes, but the
passion that stirred within me writing this beautiful
love story has been a life-changing experience. I have
never felt more fulfilled and hope that you enjoy this
story as much as I loved writing it.

Autumn is the time of the year when the air turns crisp
and the trees reveal a colorful landscape of various
hues and textures. "Autumn is a second spring when
every leaf is a flower." ~Albert Camus. The foliage
starts losing its bloom during later August, and sparingly
a yellow leaf shows itself like the first gray hair
among the tresses of a beautiful woman that has seen
one season too many. It's the calm, messy, leaf-blowing
and a perfect time between the seasons of summer and
winter. "Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor,
summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all."
~Stanley Horowitz
