Dianne lives in Central Florida with her husband, two children and part-time Yellow Lab-Cody boy! When not whacking away at her keyboard crafting her next novel you'll find her in the family's organic garden chasing grasshoppers and plucking hornworms.

A girl's gotta have fun, right?

When she's not knee-deep in dirt or romance, Dianne contributes garden advice for various websites and volunteers in her kids' school garden (a crazy existence to be sure). But at the end of the day, if she can inspire someone to stop and smell the roses-or rosemary!-kiss their child and spouse good-night, be kind to a neighbor and Mother Earth, then she's done all right.

5 blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies

An emotion-packed read, JENNIFER’S GARDEN is a witty, sexy contemporary romance that will grab your attention from the very first page and won’t let go until the very satisfying conclusion. Talented author Dianne Venetta will touch your heart with this moving tale. Reading this book is a terrific way to spend an afternoon, escaping your daily cares to engross yourself in this wonderfully well-written romance. Although I did not care for Jennifer and her snobbish ways in the beginning, this soon changed as the story evolved. Jax was also put off by her attitude in the beginning, but working for her and seeing her daily, he began to know her as a person and his attraction to her increased exponentially. A delightful read filled with characters who come to life right before your eyes, a tearjerker plot, humor, grief, sexual chemistry, friendship, detailed settings and plenty of love, JENNIFER’S GARDEN is a book not to be missed! This is the first book I have read by this gifted author, and I look forward to reading her more of her works.

LUST ON THE ROCKS by Dianne Venetta — coming soon!

She has what he needs, and he won’t stop until he gets it. Trouble is, what begins as a matter of death, becomes a matter of life.

One case away from partnership, Samantha Rawlings is forced to share her high-profile case with a sexy younger man, whose eyes are on a different prize. In the best interests of her client, Sam opens the door to his strategy. Turns out, a little too far…

Victor Marin has ulterior motives. The defendant in her case holds the key to his revenge, and his last chance for justice. But as he chases old demons, he uncovers a powerful woman with no inhibitions, one he wants to possess for himself. But decidedly single, Sam wants no part.

Until Vic walks away.

A couple of years ago, I received an unexpectedly tough rejection. As an aspiring author querying agents and editors, you become accustomed to rejections with the understanding that each "no" brings you-hopefully!-that much closer to a yes. Well, this one pierced the elephant skin and squashed my enthusiasm.

It was tough. So, in order to gain some clarity, I decided to "step away from the beast" and take a break from my writing and walked straight into my garden, the new venture I had started with the help of my more experienced gardener neighbors. Next thing you know, I'm a gardening fool growing every vegetable I can get my hands on! Totally organic, of course. I have kids and I'm mindful of what goes into their little bodies.

But the mind never stops and I started coming up with all sorts of analogies between plants and life, plants and kids and men-oh yes, definitely men. You'd be amazed by the similarities. One thing led to another and now I host a garden blog at BloominThyme! Well, once I hit the keyboard it didn't take long for me to find my way back to my characters. Sassy little things.

Q: Describe the "perfect" hero? What about the "perfect" hero for you?

My perfect hero is kind-hearted, good-looking, strong and easygoing. He smiles a
lot, always has an ear ready to listen…and he remembers the little things. But he's no pushover. He knows what he wants and he'll get it-if he chooses to go after it (or her, as the case may be).

Fall, hands down. Love the crisp cool air-probably because 3-4 months of Florida heat is enough to flatten any girl's sunshiny spirit! Not to mention her hair. But when the leaves change and warm cozy fireplaces light up, well, that's a strong lure for any romantic. Add some apple cider, pumpkin pie (whipped cream on mine, please) and a soft furry blanket-I'm set for days!

Unfortunately, I revel in this delight on a tourist basis only.
