Author Kimberly Killion Recommended Spooky Read:Ok then…hands down, the scariest book I read this year was THE RUINS by Scott Smith. Not a romance, but OMG! I don’t read scary books but was writing a scene about a woman possessed by a witch and wanted the inspiration. THE RUINS is like 500+ pages and I read it in less than 2 days. I read while driving…shhh….don’t tell anyone, and I had to pull off the side of the interstate because I thought I was going to be sick. Seriously! When I finished the book, I immediately gave it to a friend because I didn’t want it in my house. Whew! That’s probably way more information than you wanted, but there you have it. <shivers>
