Book 1,
MAID FOR THE MILLIONAIRE, is the first to be released. Writing
this book was one of those best of times, worst of times experiences
for me. I adored Cain and Liz, the hero and heroine. It was
clear to me from the first meeting over his dirty laundry that
they didnt just have chemistry; they were HOT for each
other.
But theyd
been married and it hadnt worked out. And now she was
his maid! Talk about a fall from grace! Trying again seemed
so, so foolish!
But,
you know what? Sometimes you just cant tell chemistry
what to do!
I
adore a man who simply cannot stay away from a heroine. I love
him even more if hes willing to humble himself to try
to figure out what went wrong. Mostly because he wants to get
her back into bed. But also because he cant believe he
lost her. Liz is kind, loving, wonderful. So he had to have
been the screw up.
But guess what?
He wasnt. It was Lizs mistake that broke them up.
Every darned
time I turned around this book surprised me! Is it any wonder
I need a margarita?

I cleaned
toilets to get myself in the mood every morning. Im not
kidding. I dont have a housekeeper, so cleaning toilets
isnt unique for me. But I wanted myself to really smell
the chlorine and feel the way Liz would when shes wearing
rubber gloves and holding a toilet brush, running into the man
of her dreams!
Something
similar happened in MAID FOR THE SINGLE DAD. Ellie meets Mac
when shes finally getting the opportunity to prove herself
to her boss (Liz, the heroine from book 1 who is on her honeymoon
and who left her maid business in Ellies hands)
Poor Ellie
is caught between a rock and a hard place. Do her job the way
she knows the job is to be done or disappoint a friend of Lizs
new husband. She opts not to disappoint anybody and runs Lizs
business as Macs live-in nanny! At first shes overworked
and frazzled but pretty soon she discovers Mac and his kids
are the family shes been looking for ever since she became
a foster child when she was just a teenager.
Both books
have just enough truth to make the heroines so real you could
swear you should blend another batch of margaritas to make sure
they get a glass too! Yet both books also have a magic, fun
element. I felt and saw the hand of fate moving in these books,
working to make sure these two wonderful women snagged the fantastic
hunks of their dreams.
So, margarita?
Yeah. I could use one. And I swear Ill let the toilet
brush at home.
